Friday Night Live’s 2nd show of the season will Feature Rough Draft so get ready to dance the night away with one of the south’s top R&B / Dance Variety bands! This six piece party band will get you on the dance floor from the moment they hit the first note playing some of the top dance tunes of all time. Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, this multi-talented group share many years of combined musical experiences in other popular groups. Their enthusiasm and excitement in each and every performance is contagious and creates a fun energy with each audience. Musically this band is smooth as silk now combine that with the dynamic performances of not only a male but also a female lead singer, they reach heights that few bands can match. Rough Draft has been fortunate to open for some top national artsits such as the SOS Band, Curtis Blow, the Ohio Players not to mention being featured performers at such top regional festivals as Oktoberfest (Hickory, NC), The Summer Jam Concert Series (Charlotte, NC), The Pageland Watermelon Festival (Charlotte, NC) and the Rock Around The Clock Festival (Winnsboro, SC) just to name a few. Each time performing to rave reviews! Their show consists of a top dance tunes from such exciting artists as Michael Jackson, Gloria Gaynor, The Gap Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, Donna Summer and also includes some amazing duets by such artists as Marvin Gaye & Tami Terrell. Although Rough Draft’s repertoire is mainly dance variety they also can include, depending upon the event, jazz, beach & blues.
